The Maschsee Festival opened on 26th of July...
The Maschsee Festival in Hanover is one of the largest summer festivals in northern Germany, attracting millions to enjoy a vast number of concerts and performing arts shows in and around the city. The festivities opened with an impressive firework display on the shores of the lake.
Visitors are invited to enjoy the variety of gastronomic delights and entertainment on offer, which cater for both young and old, including events for children every weekend in the local parks. Stages are set up in the northern area around the Löwenbastion, presenting a variety of music catering to all tastes, and boats cruise Lake Maschsee, enabling visitors to stage-hop with ease.
