Look out for these awesome Easter Eggs!

It's a common tradition to search for eggs at Easter all over the world and we hope that you'll find some in the neighbourhood as well. But you can also try to find Easter Eggs on your DVDs! That's right - we´re not kidding! Easter Eggs are a special bonus feature hidden in some of your favorite DVDs. They are not on every DVD, but most often on special editions (two disc sets). These easter eggs mainly contain great outtakes from a movie, or a rare interview with the cast and sometimes this content even includes especially produced footage - always worth to be checked!

We recommend to start with the three Easter eggs on the Lord of the Rings Special Extended Editions, because they are really brilliant and very funny. Hopefully you or one of your friends has got these DVDs ;-)

The Easter Eggs are all hidden on the first disc of the special editions. Go to the scene selection, highlight the horizontal picture of the last chapter and press down on your remote control's direction pad to highlight a ring icon. Press enter and you'll find the following Easter Eggs:

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring: Extended Edition (disc 1)
Jack Black at Elronds secret council! Don't laugh to hard! +++++

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers: Extended Edition (disc 1)
Gollum's acceptance speech from the MTV movie awards. Simply the best! ++++

The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King: Extended Edition (disc 1)
A gag interview with Elijah Wood conducted by Dominica Monaghan. Great fun! +++++

The WSI4U Team wishes everyone a very HAPPY EASTER!

The Simpsons Movie

The Simpsons are on their way onto the big screen! The animated comedy based off the long running TV series will arrive in theatres July 27th, 2007! “The Simpsons” made its television debut in 1989 and now the screenplay for the movie is finished. Certainly the creators are saying very little about the plot and dummy scripts might be circulated to keep Internet spies off the track.

Here's what they did say:

The film probably will be rated PG-13 for language a bit coarser than you see on TV, though Groening says creators are considering using the freedom of film to "exploit all the degenerate standards of today's movie going culture."

Guest stars will include Albert Brooks, Minnie Driver and the real-life Erin Brockovich (whom Bart Simpson once called "the prostitute with the heart of gold").

Nearly all the series regulars are in the movie. "We've got a lot of time to fill," writer-producer James Brooks jokes.

Never fear, this won't be the end of the TV series, signed to air into 2009.

"We felt the time was right for a movie," Groening says. "And for Milhouse to win an Oscar."
