The Maschsee Festival is back for 2006!
The Maschsee Festival opened on 26th of July...
The Maschsee Festival in Hanover is one of the largest summer festivals in northern Germany, attracting millions to enjoy a vast number of concerts and performing arts shows in and around the city. The festivities opened with an impressive firework display on the shores of the lake.
Visitors are invited to enjoy the variety of gastronomic delights and entertainment on offer, which cater for both young and old, including events for children every weekend in the local parks. Stages are set up in the northern area around the Löwenbastion, presenting a variety of music catering to all tastes, and boats cruise Lake Maschsee, enabling visitors to stage-hop with ease.

What is the Matrix ?
Remember this unique question? Back in 2002 an outstanding movie started to revolt the motion picture industry and it´s audience...
In 2006 - sorry - it must now read "WHAT IS THE MEATRIX ?" Actually the clever guys of Sustainable Table claimed the MATRIX theme and style and wrapped it around their very own message. The message and warning about factory farming is alarming and must not be underestimated. Check out the funny trailer, which will soon make you quiet uneasy. But it fits so perfectly together. Spread the word, think about it and try to escape.
The option to watch the trailer and the site itself in different languages is very convenient (just in case you didn’t do your homework ;-) ) and of course for your friends who still haven’t brushed up their English.
